Acerca de Ashley
En una noche de hogar cuando Ashley tenía tres meses escribimos una lista de cosas interesantes acerca de nuestra pequeña princesa

1. Nos encanta ver la paz y tranquilidad que transmite cuando esta dormida. Aunque este cansada podría quedarme diez minutos mas mirandola para a segurarme que esta bien.
2. No podemos creer cuantas veces a la semana, aun cada día, Ashley tiene hipo. Algunas veces cuando esta llorando, el hipo hace que pare de llorar hasta que pase y después sigue llorando, la mayoría de veces le sorprende.
3. Es divertido verle despertarse por que hace muchas muecas, levanta los brazos, se estira todo su cuerpo por bastante tiempo. Aun cuando le ponemos en el asiento para el carro se sigue estirando hasta que terminamos de abrocharle.  
4. Ashley es muy hermosa, a donde vamos muchas personas se detienen a verla y se sorprenden de lo hermosa que es y nos dicen que preciosa y perfecta. Les gusta su cabello largo cafe oscuro, sus largas pestañas risadas, sus ojos grandes, su pequeña nariz, definidos labios, que la hacen unica.
5. Fue interesante que Ashely reconocío nuestras voces aun los primeros días de nacida. Recuerdo que cuando estuvo en cuidados especiales, esperabamos ansiosos poder ir para verle, cuando entrabamos ella empezaba a llorar por que escuchaba nuestras voces y quería que le cojamos.
6. Le encanta que le bañe en su tina, patea y se mueve como si quisiera nadar, lo unico que no le gusta es cuando la sacamos del agua y siente frío por estar mojada, tenemos que secarle y abrigarle rapido sino llora y grita hasta que este caliente.
7. Es muy valiente pero no le gusta sentir frío. Cuando estuvimos por salir del hospital tuvieron que sacar  muestras de sangre de su pie. Le sacaron algunas muestras, aunque estaba despierta no hizo ni un sonido. Cuando terminaron le tomaron la temperatura poniendo el termómetro debajo de su brazo, al parecer el termómetro estaba frío por que lloro más que nunca. 
8. Ahora esta empezando a sonreír nos todo el tiempo. Cuando le hablamos a veces nos responde y nos cuenta historias. Algún día podremos entender lo que nos dice.
9. Se puede enojar muy rápido y en sus primeras semanas se frustraba si me demoraba unos minutos para darle de comer. Me miraba todo el tiempo que comía para hacerme saber que estaba molesta.
10. Solo cuando se enojaba o estaba cansada aceptaba el chupón, se podía escuchar que estaba resoplando o tratando de llorar y cuando se enojaba mucho hasta botaba el chupón. 

Eigth Months Old

About Ashely
In a family home evening when Ashley was 3 months old, we made a list of interesting things about our precious little one. We want to share with you.

1. I love seeing the peace and tranquility she transmits when she is asleep. Even if I'm tired I could spent 10 minutes just watching her to make sure she is ok.

2. We can't believe how many times a week, even each day, that she gets the hiccups. Sometimes she is crying and a hiccup will interrupt her completely and stop the crying... it usually surprises her.

3. Its fun to watch her wake up because she makes some pretty funny faces, and she holds her arms up stretches out for a surprisingly long amount of time. Even when we wake her up to put her in the carseat she can still be stretching even once we have finished buckling her up.

4. She is very beautiful, and many people wherever we go are surprised by her beauty, and tell us that she is gorgeous and perfect. They are surprised by her long brown hair, her long curly eyelashes, her big eyes, her little nose, and defined lips, they make her unique.

5. Its intersting that Ashley recognized our voices even in the first few days after she was born.When she was in the nursery in the hospital, we were always anxious to be able to go and see her.

6. She really enjoys taking baths, and like to kick her feet and move around, but she can't stand getting out of the water and feeling the cold air against her wet body. We have to dry her off quickly otherwise she screams like never before.

7. As she was about to leave the hospital they had to draw blood samples from her foot. They took many of these samples and even though she was awake she didn't make a noise. But.... when they finished that they took a cold thermometer and put it under her arm to take her temperature and she screamed more than ever.

8. Now she is beginning to smile at us all of the time. Some times if we talk to her for a while she will start to talk back with us and tell us her stories. Maybe one of these days we will understand her.

9. She can get angry fairly easy and in her first weeks she would get really frustrated if Gabby took too much time to feed her. She would stare Gabby down as she ate to let her know that she wasn't happy about it.

10. When she is angry or tired she will take her binky, but you can still hear her grunt and try to cry in the meanwhile. usually its soft enough that she keeps it in her mouth, but if she gets really angry the will burst out in loud crying and drop the binky.
